Network connectivity 

 

Network connectivity is the term used to connect two or more computers or system with one  another through the mediater mean.

 Network connectivity is basically  divided into two different parts  i.e wired and wireless connectivity.

 wired connectivity:- wired connectivity is the the connectivity between two or more computer or system using the wires . The wires is use as a media between the two computers. the connection with the wired network has the limitation with the network speed depending upon the material use in wired network.The wire connectivity includes
  • LAN(local area network)
  • MAN(metropolitan area network)
  • WAN(wide area network)
  • GAN(global area network)
wireless network:-wireless network is the connection establishment between two or more computers or the system through the wireless means of communication.The wireless network technology includes.
  • WIFI (wireless fidelity)
  • bluetooth
 

 LAN(local area network):-

local area network is the term use for connectivity of the system
in the small area.
A specific no. of the users are added and are connected to the network  using the wired network.
example:-Number of computers present in the computer laboratory for the student use are connected in the LAN

MAN(Metropolitan area network):-

Metropolitan area network is the term use for connectivity of the system in the metropolitan area just like a building or the firm office containing multiple floor.
A specific number of people are connected to the network depending upon the hardware used in the infrastructure or building.
example:-Number of computer or system connected in the network in the building using the infrastructure.

WAN(Wide area network):-

Wide area network is the term use for connectivity of the system in the wide  area just like a country or the continent or the city.
Example:-people of the continent or the city connected to the network by the different service provider present in the specific area.

GAN(Global area network):-

Global area network is the term use for connectivity of the system in the global level where all the computers or the system connected to the internet are connected to global network.
Example:-people on the earth connected to the internet are the example of the GAN network.
